Who Needs a Tree?

We decided to forgo a tree this year, and things were looking a little unfestive, until we started to put up the cards and unpack the lovely, shiny packages and stack them around the fire.

What a haul eh!? Every year since I stopped being a teenager I’ve been convinced that the present-side of Christmas would slide off, but every year I’m amazed by the generosity of my family and friends!
