Kate Craig-Wood, a friend of mine and MD of Memset Dedicated Servers, is one of a small group of daredevils who will be the first to skydive from 29,000ft onto Mt. Everest.

She’s already in the foothills of the Himalayas, doing practice jumps and getting acclimatised to the extreme environment. This act of insanity is raising money and awareness of the low percentage of girls in IT, a cause close to my heart.
